Register your MSME on Udyam
Udyam Registration is the official, free, paperless identity for micro, small and medium enterprises. It gives access to priority-sector lending, MSME schemes, delayed-payment protection and government procurement benefits.
Steps

Go to the Udyam Registration portal (beware of private look-alike sites that charge fees)

Enter the Aadhaar of the proprietor/partner/director and verify with OTP
- 3
Enter PAN (validated automatically) and business details; investment and turnover are taken from ITR/GST data
- 4
Submit to get the Udyam Registration Number and certificate
- 5
Informal micro enterprises without PAN/GST can register on the Udyam Assist Platform through designated agencies
