About
How it works
- 1
A map of government
We maintain a curated directory of 590 official websites — ministries, departments, 36 states and union territories, regulators, courts and service portals — plus step-by-step guides for 53 common services and 65 major schemes.
- 2
Reading the sites
A polite crawler (respecting robots.txt) reads those websites and builds a search index of 28,100 passages, refreshed regularly.
- 3
An AI researcher
When you ask, an AI model plans searches, looks up the right department, checks scheme eligibility, and opens live official pages to confirm current fees, dates and rules. It can only fetch government domains.

Answers you can verify
The answer cites its sources inline. Click any number to open the exact official page.
How to get the best answer
“I'm 67, live in Pune, and my husband just passed away. He was a central government pensioner. How do I get the family pension?”
Be specific: your state, age, occupation and situation help find the right scheme and office. Don't include ID numbers or personal contact details.
Questions
›Can I apply for services here?
Not yet. Pucho doesn't process applications or hold records — it helps you find and understand the right official service, and links you straight to it.
›Where do answers come from?
Only from official government websites: central ministries and departments, state and union territory governments, regulators, courts and citizen-service portals. Every answer links to the pages it used.
›Can it check the status of my application?
No. It can't log in anywhere or see your records. It will point you to the official status-tracking page.
›What if an answer is wrong?
AI can make mistakes and government rules change. Check the linked official source before acting on anything important, and use the feedback buttons to tell us.
›Do I need an account?
No account, no sign-in, no personal details needed. Please don't share Aadhaar numbers, bank details or OTPs — nobody here will ever ask for them.
›Which languages work?
English and all 22 scheduled languages of India. Choose your language at the top of the page, and ask by typing or speaking. Voice input depends on what your browser supports.
›Can I upload a government letter or form?
Yes — attach a PDF or photo and ask what it means. The file is used only to answer your question and isn't kept on our servers. Cover ID numbers before uploading if you can.
