Correct or update details in your PAN / get a reprint
Changes to name, date of birth, father's name, photo or signature on your PAN, and reprints of a lost card, are done through the agency (Protean or UTIITSL) that handles PAN changes. Updates to Aadhaar-based e-PAN can also be handled on the e-filing portal.
Steps

On the Protean or UTIITSL portal, choose 'Changes or Correction in existing PAN data / Reprint of PAN card'
- 2
Enter your PAN, tick the fields to change, and complete Aadhaar-based e-KYC/e-sign or upload documents

Pay the fee and keep the acknowledgement number
- 4
The corrected PAN card is dispatched; an e-PAN is emailed

- Copy of PAN
- Proof supporting the change (e.g. marriage certificate or gazette notification for name change)
