Apply for central government jobs (UPSC, SSC)
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recruits for the civil services, engineering, forest, defence and other Group A/B posts. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits for Group B and C posts (CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD Constable and others). Both use One Time Registration (OTR) and online applications.
Steps

Read the official notification for eligibility, age limits, relaxations and exam dates

Complete One Time Registration on the UPSC online portal or the SSC website

Fill the exam-specific application, upload photo/signature/documents and pay the fee (exempt for certain categories)

Download the admit card, appear for the exam stages, and check results on the official website
- 5
Beware of fake job sites and agents; only use official websites

- Educational certificates
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) if claiming relaxation
- Photo ID
