Update your Aadhaar details (address, name, mobile, biometrics)

Some Aadhaar updates (such as address, or refreshing identity and address documents) can be done online on the myAadhaar portal. Mobile number, biometric, and most name, date-of-birth and gender changes need a visit to an Aadhaar centre.

Steps

    For address or document updates: log in to myAadhaar with Aadhaar and OTP, choose the update service, upload a supporting document and pay any fee

  2. 2

    For mobile number, email, biometrics, photo, or name/DOB/gender corrections: visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or enrolment centre

  3. 3

    Note the Update Request Number (URN) and track the status online

  4. 4

    Download the updated e-Aadhaar once the update is processed

  • Supporting proof of identity/address/date of birth as per the UIDAI document list
