Incentive for eligible rural households without a toilet to build one, under Phase II of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).
What you get
An incentive of ₹12,000 for constructing an individual household latrine, paid after construction is verified.
Who can apply
- Rural households without a toilet in priority categories: BPL households, SC/ST households, small and marginal farmers, landless labourers with homestead, persons with disabilities and women-headed households
How to apply
- Apply online on the SBM-G portal ('Citizen Corner' – application for IHHL) or through your Gram Panchayat
- Build the toilet; the incentive is released after geo-tagged verification
