A campaign to improve the child sex ratio and promote the survival, protection and education of the girl child. Note: it is an awareness and convergence programme with no direct cash transfer to individuals, so beware of fraudulent forms promising cash under BBBP.
What you get
No individual cash benefit. District-level awareness, enforcement of the PC-PNDT Act, and promotion of girls' enrolment and retention in school, in convergence with schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi.
