Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY for senior citizens aged 70+ (Ayushman Vay Vandana Card)

Extends PM-JAY to every Indian aged 70 or above, whatever their income, through a separate Ayushman Vay Vandana card.
What you get
Cashless hospital cover of up to ₹5 lakh a year on a family basis for members aged 70+. If the family is already covered by PM-JAY, the senior gets an additional top-up of up to ₹5 lakh a year, not shared with younger members.
Who can apply
- Indian citizens aged 70 years or above (age as per Aadhaar)
- Those in CGHS, ECHS, CAPF or other public health schemes may keep their existing scheme or choose AB PM-JAY
- Those with private insurance or ESIC are also eligible
How to apply
- Enrol on beneficiary.nha.gov.in or the Ayushman App using 'Enrol for 70+' with Aadhaar e-KYC
- Download the Ayushman Vay Vandana card, or get help at an empanelled hospital or CSC
